Anthony Dell'Orso drops 18 points in Campbell loss

ACU had a rough night going down 84-54 to Utah Valley. Hunter Jack Madden had 2 points, 1 rebound and 4 assists. Yout Gai had 2 points and 2 rebounds. Tobias Cameron scored 7 points. ACU fall to 1-5 in WAC games.
Utah Tech lost 76-69 to GCU. Chol Deng didn’t see the floor.
Samford scored a 69-59 victory over ETSU. Jaron Rillie scored 2 points to go with 5 boards and 2 assists. Achor Achor had a big impact and scored 6 points and grabbed 3 boards off the bench. Samford continue their unbeaten run moving to 7-0 in Southern conference games.
Campbell fell 63-55 to Redford. Anthony Dell’Orso did his best to get Campbell across the line, scoring 18 points and grabbing 6 boards, but it wasn’t enough. The Freshman carried a big load and attacked the rim relentlessly, and has an uncanny ability to get to hole and make sweet layups. At 6’6 he is an absolute handful and after his defender got sick of him blowing by him, Dell’Orso showed the step back three and drained it. It’s going to be fun following the career of Anthony given the level he is playing at as a true Freshman. The Camels fall to 2-5 in Big South Conference play.
Cal fell 87-58 to Oregon. Kuany Kuany scored 7 points and had 4 rebounds in 17 minutes off the bench. Cal are 2-6 in PAC 12 action.
